Park Slope Dentistry is seeking an experienced, full-time Dental Office Manager/Front Desk for its upscale dental practice in Park Slope, New York.

Job Description:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Administrative work related to insurance, patient record maintenance and patient follow up care
- Coordinating staff work schedules for hygienists and dental assistants
- Stocking and ordering of office supplies
- Opening and closing of dental office in morning and evening
- Supervision of part-time employees, including cleaning personnel

Each of the above duties may be personally performed by the dental office manager or the dental office manager may oversee the performance of them by another person.

Requirements:
Applicant must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Dental Office Manager
- Proficiency in Dentrix and computer literacy a must
- Working knowledge of dental billing, dental insurance claims, coding and intake
- Must be able to perform many administrative tasks
- Experience managing dental staff, including 2 hygienists and 1 dental assistant
- Understanding of dental terminology strongly preferred
- Hardworking and friendly with a desire to interact with patients and office staff on a regular basis
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be able to provide 1-2 business references upon request
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
